Dr. Amanjot Sarao
Dr. Amanjot Sarao earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She went on to complete her General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor Veteran Affairs Hospital / University of Michigan Medical Center. She has extensive OR training in managing medically complex patients and is cross trained in various aspects of dentistry including, but not limited to, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, extractions and dental implants, Invisalign®, sleep apnea, and root canal therapy.
Dr. Sarao’s goals are to ease dental anxieties and build a comfortable experience for her patients – while providing the highest standard of care. She is proud of the trust she builds with her patients and leaves them feeling more confident and empowered about their smile and overall health.
Her passion for dentistry is not limited to the dental practice. She has completed extensive global service work and dental research in the Dominican Republic and Zambia, Africa—leading 3 week-long dental service projects to provide care for underserved communities. For which, she has received the Tufts Presidential Award for Civic Life as well as the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award.Dr. Sarao stays equipped with the newest techniques and advances in dentistry by actively taking continuing education courses through her memberships in professional organizations, such as the American Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.In her personal time, Dr. Sarao loves traveling the world, tennis, and spending time with her family, which includes her Samoyed dog, Mia.Dr. Sarao is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for her patients and looks forward to starting your journey to optimal health.
